This set was a Belgium rerelease of 1st Wave Ska artists (Don Drummond, The Maytals, Byron Lee, The Blues Busters, Prince Buster, Jimmy Cliff, Tommy McCook, Stranger Cole, Roland Alphonso, The Skatalites, & Baba Brooks).
The Covers of these albums use Ska dance instruction photos taken from THIS original “Dance The Ska” release from 1964 by Byron Lee & The Dragonaires.
“Let George Do It” was the name of a popular radio drama series during the 1940’s and 50’s. Don Drummond’s song most likely borrowed the name from this and was unlikely created to serve for a future US presidents 1988 campaign slogan.

The back of this album reads in part “…. had his share of ups and downs in life, but the unfortunate chapters are soon forgotten when one listens to the golden notes of his Trombone.” which references his death at an early age in a mental hospital shortly after he was convicted of murdering his girlfriend.
Sound Sample of track 1 “Tribute To Don Drummond”.
Rico pays tribute to the other great Jamaican Ska Trombonist Don Drummond (who died in a mental institution in 1969 after having murdered his girlfriend LINK).
This record is very peculiar for the following reasons:
1. Rico Rodriguez’s name is spelled on the back cover as “Reco Rodregraz” and then on the vinyl label it is misspelled differently as “Reco Rodreguez”. On a different Rico single (”Tenderfoot Ska” found HERE) I have found his name spelled a third wrong way as “Reco Radregez”.
2. On the back cover the grammer is incorrect in stating “Paying Tribute to Don Drummonds” (the S at the end of Drummond makes it look as if there were more than 1 of him). Oddy enough they got the grammer correct atleast on the cover of this album.
3. The vocalist on track 1 “Tribute To Don Drummond” pronounces his name as Dan Drummonds.
